The ship is approximately 135 meters long and a little over 11 meters wide, she has three enclosed decks with cabins at the aft end on each level. Reception is amid ships on the second level with the dining room ahead of it. The lower deck is cabins and the upper deck is a large lounge and more cabins. There are also some smaller quiet areas as well as a hair dresser and Gym. They served an a la carte lunch in the dining room every day and a buffet lunch in the lounge. As expected there was a wonderful self selection buffet breakfast served every morning in the Dining room. In addition to this there was afternoon tea with cakes and sandwiches in the lounge and an early riser breakfast.
Details of the ship can be seen here on the Amadeus web site AMADEUS Silver II we were in cabin 112. The boat was nicely decorated for Christmas complete with tree and winter village in reception.
The meals on the boat were excellent with a 4 course meal in the evening with 2 choices of each course and unlimited red or white wine.
| Of course all the catering staff were presented to us before our third meal of the cruise, not the Gala night, they came in and walked through the dinning room in the dark carrying Baker Alaska complete with Roman Candles and sparklers. Below are some of the dishes from the last nights gala dinner where there were 5 courses not the normal four. |

It wasn’t only the catering staff who were presented but on Gala night the rest of the crew were all there and after introductions lead the carol singing .
